Privacy Policy

Last updated: 30 July 2026

Overview

  • No names, emails, or accounts are ever collected.
  • Your raw IP address is never stored — only a one-way hash used to block duplicate votes.
  • Vote totals are shared publicly; individual votes are never linked to an identity.
  • No cross-site tracking or advertising cookies.
  • You may clear your vote anytime via your browser’s settings.
  • Information we collect. When you vote, we store your chosen option, a random one-time token generated in your browser, and a one-way (irreversible) cryptographic hash of your network address. We do not collect or store names, email addresses, accounts, phone numbers, or your raw IP address.
  • How we use information. The token and the hashed network address are used solely to enforce our one-vote-per-visitor limit. The chosen option is added to shared, public totals. No information is used to identify or contact any individual.
  • Local storage. Your browser stores a small token and an optional local hint of which option you picked, so we can show you a friendlier interface on return visits. This data lives only in your browser and can be cleared at any time through your browser settings.
  • Third-party advertising. This website may display ads served by Google AdSense. Google and its partners may use cookies and similar technologies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites. You can opt out of personalized advertising via Google’s Ads Settings. Google’s use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads based on your visit to this site and/or other sites on the internet.
  • Third-party cookies. Advertisers and third parties such as measurement vendors and ad networks may use cookies to serve ads and measure ad performance. You may opt out of some third-party cookies at aboutads.info/choices and by visiting Google Ads Settings.
  • Data retention. Vote records are retained for the lifetime of the survey to maintain accurate totals and prevent duplicate votes. You may request that your local browser data be removed at any time by clearing your browser’s storage for this site.
  • Your rights. Because we do not collect personal information tied to your identity, there is no personal profile to access, correct, or delete. You are always in control of the data stored locally in your browser.
  • Children’s privacy. This website is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from children.
  • Security. One-way hashing means network addresses cannot be reversed back to a raw IP address. All data is transmitted over HTTPS.
  • Changes to this policy. We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision.
  • Contact. This is an independent project with no formal support channel. For privacy concerns, you may clear your browser’s storage for this site at any time.
